& atmosphere.
Mila’s work moves between pure abstraction and more recognizable presences. That tension is part of what gives the site structure: one section for the open, gestural abstract works, and one for the angel works where the figure becomes more explicit.

About the artist
About Mila
Painting has been part of Mila’s life for as long as she can remember.
Practice
Her paintings are built through layering, erasure, gesture and instinct. Some works remain open and atmospheric, while others let a figure quietly take shape.

Background
Before focusing more fully on her own work, Mila spent years as a formulator for MAC and Estée Lauder. That history deepened her relationship with pigment and material, but her studio practice has always remained personal and intuitive.
This version of the site is intentionally more expressive again — closer to the softer curves and visual language from the earlier design you liked.
